Trained at Saint-Luc Brussels and the University of California, Berkeley, Donatienne du Parc Locmaria has developed a practice centred on context, light and materiality.
Her experience spans more than twenty years: single-family homes, new builds and planning permits, renovations and extensions, apartment buildings, senior housing, medical and therapeutic environments, interior architecture and bespoke furniture, bioclimatic projects and site supervision.
From this diversity she draws one conviction: architecture is not first a matter of form, but of life. Each project seeks to translate a way of living into spaces that are beautiful, functional and connected to their surroundings.
