Homes shaped by their site, their light and the people who inhabit them.

Donatienne du Parc Locmaria designs bespoke residential architecture across Walloon Brabant and Brussels.

Manifesto

For Donatienne, architecture does not begin with a form. It begins with a site, an orientation and a way of living. Each project translates use into space, allows light to shape the day and gives materials a meaningful presence.

Fields of work

  1. New homes

Complete residential design starting from a site, its orientation and the client’s way of living.

  2. Transformations

Renovations, extensions and deep reorganisations of existing buildings.

  3. Interiors and bespoke elements

Interior spaces, kitchens, built-in furniture and details that belong to the overall architecture.

A clear process

  1. Meeting and listening
  2. Reading the site and clarifying the brief
  3. Sketch and exploration
  4. Permits and technical development
  5. Construction and delivery

Depending on the agreed mission.

The architect

Trained at Saint-Luc Brussels and the University of California, Berkeley, Donatienne du Parc Locmaria has developed a practice centred on context, light and materiality. Her experience spans private homes, care environments, bespoke interiors and bioclimatic projects, guided by one question: how can architecture enable life more fully?
